Jouer Matte Moisture Tint Foundation | Review
Howdy folks! I have a slightly different post today than what I had originally planned. I mentioned on Monday I'd be sharing a fun little toy for scrapbookers/instagrammers, but sorry to say, that's not going to happen today. I'll share that soon, though, along with a project using said toy!
When it comes to foundation/tinted moisturizer/BB creams/etc., I'm not overly hard to please. I'm fortunate in that my skin is in pretty good condition, so I just need a light coverage to even things out. With that said, it can sometimes be a little tough to find that sweet spot between coverage that is too heavy and too sheer. Add in that you want it to last throughout the day and it can be a challenge to find the 'perfect' foundation! I recently found one that has been perfection for me (thank you Birchbox!). Ladies, allow me to introduce you to Jouer Matte Moisture Tint.
Don't let the label 'matte' scare you away! This isn't 1990's matte where you end up looking like a dry cracker!
It has a nice even coverage that makes it look like I'm not even wearing a foundation. That's where the 'matte' comes in, it's not 'glowy', it's just natural without any shine.
They do make a Luminizing Moisture tint if you do want that shinier look. I've tried that one as well and while I do like it, I much prefer the coverage and natural-ness (is that a word!?) of the matte moisture tint. To give you an idea on color, I'm pretty fair (as you can probably tell from my photo over on the right!).
In the winter, I use the shade Linen and in summer, I use Nude (although, I'm still using this one even though it's no longer summer). A little bit of this stuff goes a long way, so a tube lasts quite a while.
As I've received other samples of other BB creams/tints/foundations, I've given them a try, but nothing has pulled me away from my Jouer!
Enjoy the day and see you back here on Friday!
