PopSugar's Must Have Box {January 2015}

Do you know the feeling you get when you are about to open a present that you just know will be awesome?  Well...that's the feeling I get when I'm about to rip open the box for PopSugar's Must Have Box!  Today, I'm sharing all the goodies I received in my latest box!

This is my third box from PopSugar and I always say that I like to give subscription boxes a good three months before I make my final decision.

Are you curious as to what I've decided to do?

I'm absolutely going to keep getting these boxes!!

I have LOVED every single box and have been pleasantly surprised with all of the unique things they've selected for each box.  This month is the first time I received something that I will gift to someone and not keep (but not because I don't like it!  I'll tell you all about it in just a few quick minutes!).

So...are you ready to dive in and check out everything?!

#1 | General Mills Nature Valley Protein Granola (Retail $3.68)

I love it when my subscription boxes include food...especially if it's chocolate!  While this isn't exactly a chocolate bar, it is my favorite combo - chocolate and peanut butter!  Only instead of an unhealthy candy bar, it's granola thats packed with protein!

I haven't seen this in the stores (it's probably there and I just didn't notice it!), but I loved it!  I don't really want to love this, since, while healthy, granola does pack a serious calorie punch, so you have to be careful when eating this to not go overboard.  But, provided I mind the serving size, it's a tasty treat!

#2 | Manduka eQua Hand Towel (Retail $16)

I was quite excited to see something from Manduka in the box!  While I don't practice yoga regularly (I used to and I should be hitting the mat more often!), I've practiced it enough to know that Manduka is an awesome company!  I went to Wanderlust Yoga Festival in Stratton, VT last June and became more acquainted with this brand since they had a booth there selling their products.  They make amazing yoga products!

This towel is super absorbent and will be perfect, not only for yoga, but any workout!  I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but the next time I head out to a yoga class, this will definitely be in my bag (although, it'll likely be put to use much sooner since I'm going to start taking it with me to the gym for my cardio/strength workouts!)!

#3 | First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (Retail $28)

This is hands down my FAVORITE product in the box this month!!  I've seen this brand, but I've never tried it, or even been inspired to try it.  Being that we're in the midst of winter, my skin is constantly in need of some good moisturizing cream and this stuff is AH-MAZING!!

In the jar, it appears almost like a whipped body cream, so its light and dare I say, fluffy.  A little of this goes a long way.  If you scoop out too much, it is a little hard for it to absorb and it remains a tad greasy.  But, if you scale back and use less, it is wonderful.

My hands actually feel quenched when I put this on (think drinking-a-tall-glass-of-cold-water-on-a-hot-summer-day quenched!).  I'm going to keep this little gem on my desk to dip into whenever I feel my hands need a little extra love (although, it's not just a hand cream...you can use it pretty much anywhere!).

#4 | KeepCup Brew 12-Ounce Reusable Coffee Cup ($26)

I am definitely a coffee drinker and I pretty much run out of the house everyday with a cup of joe in my hand.  While I don't normally use disposable coffee cups at home, I get where they're going with this and I appreciate their efforts!

Since I do typically use a reusable coffee thermos/cup, I am happy to add this one to the rotation.  At first, I was a little dismayed by the size...it's so tiny!  But, when I think about it, I don't think I pour much more than this anyway (although, I still may order a slightly larger size!).

I love that it's glass and that it has a pop of bright pink on it...that's perfect for me since that is one of my fave colors!

#5 | Jack  + Lucy Pom Pom Hat ($32)

I think the hat is adorable!  What's not to like about  a knitted hat in a nice neutral color with a cute furry pom pom on top?!

Well...if you're like me and have fine hair that is very susceptible to static during the cold, dry months, then you know the knitted part of the description is something to make your hair stand on end (literally, in this case!).  I actually did forget this bit of information and pulled it down on my head!  It was when I took it off that I was rudely reminded of what knitted hats do to my hair!  To be frank, I looked like I had stuck my finger in an electrical outlet.

Soooo....sadly, this adorable hat won't work for me and will need to find a new home!

#6 | Skin Jewel Tattoos EMPIRE (Retail $18)

I'm intrigued by these stick on tattoos!  I'm not really sure where I'll wear these, but most likely I'll have to wait until summer since right now, every inch of skin is pretty much covered up under layers of clothes here in Connecticut!

I can see busting these little tattoos out for a cool summer party!  But, I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the summer brings me before I will know what to do with them.

These are definitely not something I would buy, but am excited to give them a try since they were sent to me!

#7 | ToGoSpa EYES (Retail $12.50)

I am VERY excited to try these (like almost jumping up and down excited!).  I love trying out things like this and eye masks are something I'm starting to delve more into.  I have not heard of this brand, but I am looking forward to having a DIY spa night soon and these will be put to the test!

I love how they include three sets of pads in the package.  That'll give me enough to do a few DIY facials!!

As I think you can tell from my reviews...I love my box!  Of the three that I've received so far, this is probably my least favorite, but I still love it!  With each month I get more excited for the next month (so much so that I usually end up peeking on Instagram before I get my box to see what's coming!  I'm so bad!).

What do you think?  Are you on the fence about the PopSugar box?  Or have I convinced you to give it a try? ;-)
