Making the Most of Fall 2015

Ahhh…Autumn.  According to my calendar, you officially arrive today.  While I feel like summer zipped by a tad too quickly and I’m not fully ready to embrace the impending cold, I am excited about the fall season!

It hasn’t happened yet, but soon, very soon, I’ll walk outside one evening and feel it….that crispness in the air that signals the change of seasons has begun.  The nights will get longer and the darkness will wrap around me earlier and earlier.  A sense of coziness will start to build.  A favorite sweater, a warm cup of cider, and a crackling fire never fails to warm my soul.

I love fall, so to make the most of it, I’ve put together a little list of things I want to be sure to do to before it’s over.  From October to December, it seems we barely blink and it’s gone!  There’s so much going on between fall festivals, games, parties, holidays, etc. that we barely sit down until the last strains of Auld Lang Syne die down in the wee hours of January 1.  And then…we’re like…’wait…what just happened??  How is it January all of a sudden?!’.

In the interest of celebrating the first day of the new season and to perhaps inspire you to make your own Must Do Fall list, I wanted to share what’s on mine!

Now that I have my list, I'm ready to get started...let's do this, Fall 2015!

P.S.  If you want to try out the Cranberry, Chocolate Chip, Walnut Bread, I have the recipe for you right HERE.  I've been using this for years and have no clue where I originally got it, so unfortunately, I can't credit the source, but just note I didn't come up with it!

**BONUS**

Before you go, be sure to download your FREE Fall 2015 Planning Page so you don't miss a thing this season!

With this page, think of the specific memories you want to create and write them down!  Envisioning them will help you make them happen!  I've also included spaces for you to note specific places you'd like to go, foods that you want to eat that say 'fall' to you, and activities you want to be sure to participate in to get that 'fall' feeling!  Finally, taking time for ourselves is so important, so I included a space at the bottom for you to brainstorm on ways to do just that!

We’ll never get another Fall 2015, so let’s not let it zip by without making the most of it! What’s on YOUR list of things to do this season? Leave me a comment and let me know! I’d love to hear from you!
