The goal of coaching is to help you identify the areas in your life and/or thinking that may be preventing you from achieving what you want.  Coaching is not, however, professional mental health or medical care.   Coaching is not meant to be a substitute for professional counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, or any other mental or medical care.  A coach is not a licensed therapist and coaching is not therapy.

While coaching may work in conjunction with professional therapy, the benefits of coaching are best achieved when major emotional and psychological wounds are already healing or healed.

While coaching aims to provide you with the tools to take the steps to achieve the results you desire, you decide the actions you will take during the coaching process.  No results are guaranteed as results are dependent upon the work you put into the process.
