For each phase of Finding Your Edge, you will receive a beautiful workbook filled with questions and prompts to get you thinking about adventure from a different perspective, so that you discover something new about yourself and adventure.
You'll work through these on your own and at your own pace. The questions and exercises will prime you for our private call.
This isn't a DIY program! You and I will be meeting up for three 60-minute private calls over the course of six weeks (so, every other week).
In these calls, we'll explore what you discovered while completing the workbook and answer any questions that popped up. I'll challenge you to push beyond the ideas you created in the exercises.
You won't get any judgment from me...just a little tough love and lot of support.
In the first phase of Find Your Edge, you will get clear on where you are right now.
You'll also discover...
- Why is adventure so important to you, so that you light a fire within you to push ahead when things feel tough
- Why being adventurous has been challenging in the past, so that you learn how to push beyond those roadblocks
- Why you are taking the steps to invite in more adventure right now, so that you remind yourself why you're worth this time and energy

You'll paint the picture through...
- Looking back at past adventures, so that you see yourself as already being adventurous
- Getting really curious about what you want your life to look like and feel like, so that you can align your "real" life with the life you're craving
- Facing the inner dialogue in your head that tells you that you can't do this, so that you learn how to stand up to the fears and the voices
Being open minded about what you consider to be adventure will allow you to craft the best plan for YOU!
In the final phase of Find Your Edge, you will start to look at your life and craft a plan for your new adventures.
You will create a plan by...
- Narrowing down the numerous choices you've made to the top three most exciting, so that we can hone in on your favorite during our call for creating a detailed action plan
- Planning for the excuses and Inner Critic for that specific adventure, so that you have a game plan when they inevitably show up
- Creating a long list of things you can do every day, so that adventure is something you don't just experience every now and then
Walking through your 3 most exciting ideas will provide a chance for you to see what fits in your life right NOW!

As I got closer to the big 4-0, I realized I was bored. I had so diligently focused on my career that I had forgotten how to live. I wanted to stop sleep walking through my life. So, I started to do the things that scared me. I challenged myself to face those fears head on and see what happened.

- I never regretted trying something that scared me, but I always regretted what I didn’t try.
- My definition of adventure had nothing to do with anyone else - as long as I felt exhilarated, it didn’t matter if someone else thought it was boring.
Over the past five years, I’ve traveled to Europe solo (more than once); went back to school and started a business; dove into online dating as a 40+ year old (and found an amazing man); and attended a women-only summer camp where I knew no one and was well outside my comfort zone (and loved it).
I’ve walked the path of figuring out what adventure means to me and discovered how life-changing it can be to honor those cravings. I know the fears, the doubts, and the excuses, but I also know the joy of pushing through them to anyway.

I hope that won't be the case! But, if you’re not happy, I’m not happy, so I will work with you to make your experience better.
Unfortunately, though, due to the time element involved in coaching and that it’s not a product, there is no refund policy.
+ How much time will this take up each week?
Our bi-weekly calls last about 60 minutes. In between our sessions, you will have a workbook to work through and the amount of time may vary. It will depend on how much work you want to put in to change whatever isn’t working in your life.
The biggest thing that will make the most difference in your progress is just being aware of yourself and doing some self-reflective work.
+ When do we do our calls? I work during the day...
Guess what…so do I! We will conduct our 1:1 calls in the evenings or over the weekends.
In limited cases, earlier in the morning is a potential option, but for the most part, you’ll be able to look forward to our call after you finish your workday or as you’re relaxing during your weekend.
+ How does coaching differ from therapy?
Great question and it’s one many people that are new to coaching ask about. Therapy is conducted by licensed practitioners. They are trained to help people overcome things from their past. They are unconcerned with what goals a client may have for their future. The therapist's objective is to help the client identify any blocks from their past that they cannot get past on their own.
Coaching, on the other hand, is working with people that aren’t held back by traumatic things from their past. Our focus is working with clients to identify how they want to optimize their life. Then we work on whatever is getting in their way and preventing them from going down those paths. Yes, we might visit the past to work through a few of the blocks, but the difference is…we don’t stay there. We find it, deal with it, and move on.
+ Is this really going to change my life?
To put it simply…yes, if you want it to! If you’re willing to do the work, show up open and honest, and get real with yourself then yes, this can and will be life changing. It’s up to you.
I won’t be giving you a magic formula or checklist to transform your life. Everyone is different and everyone has to figure out what works for them. You will have to do the work…I will provide the framework, the guidance, the support, and the space for you to dig deep within yourself, get to know the real you, discover what’s holding you back, and start to make some internal (and possibly external) changes.
I cannot guarantee any specific results from our time together…that, my dear, is up to you. I will challenge you, call you out on your own excuses and BS, but it’s up to you what you do with that. If you’re ready to change your life, trust that you have the power and wisdom already inside you to make that happen.
I cannot guarantee specific results for anyone since that is completely in your hands. I, however, do promise to be 100% focused on you & your goals and provide a safe and trusting space for you to explore yourself and your journey. I will ask the questions to get you there, but what you decide to do is entirely up to you.
